I was recently interviewed alongside my colleague Stephen Moore from Moore Legal Technology and a range of other lawyers and legal social media champions for a video by LegalPD (Sweet & Maxwell / Thomson Reuters).
Among those interviewed included legal blogging (‘blawging’) champions Adam Wagner (barrister) and Brian Inkster (solicitor), IP lawyer Shireen Smith, employment lawyer and blogger/blawger Michael Scutt, corporate lawyer and social media expert Jonathan Lea and various others.
In addition to outlining the benefits of social media for lawyers, we discuss some of the best ways lawyers can use social media (including Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and blawgs) effectively for business purposes.
The content of the video is further summarised on my Moore Legal Technology blog post here, and on the LegalPD video post (small payment to watch and CPD hours available from this and their other legal know-how videos) – full video here and free snapshot preview here.
I’d like to thank Ben Clayton and the LegalPD team at Sweet and Maxwell and Thomson Reuters again for the chance to share my thoughts on this subject.
