Margaret Hagan recently shared on Twitter a great image she had created, with thoughts on law, technology and design. I retweeted, along with many others, but thought a short post on this would do the image more justice. For me, the key message is that there is so much that the internet and technology, particularly through legal blogs, law firm websites, and other online legal publishing, allows us to do, to make law simpler and more accessible, not just for law students, but also legal practitioners and consumers (whether or not they instruct the expert legal services they require).

Indeed, some of her other other works remind me of some of the graphical legal mindmaps I used to create and publish online (along with others such as Michelle Hynes). See, for example:-

I’d recommend following Margaret’s work more often on Twitter: @margarethagan and on her blog: www.margarethagan.com
