She is also a member of the Sedona Canada Working Group 7 and played a role in drafting The Sedona Canada Principles Addressing Electronic Discovery, Third Edition.
Passionate about innovation and access to justice, Carolyn joined the Ontario e-Hearings Taskforce in 2020. This task force acts as a consultative forum between the Ontario bench and bar, focusing on implementing efficient electronic, remote, and hybrid hearings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The task force published the second version of its "Best Practices for Remote Hearings" in May 2021, providing comprehensive guidance for remote hearing preparations.
